The 63-year-old Argentinian is the first Leeds United manager since Jimmy Armfield to win his first three league games.
The former Oxford United striker, who joined Leeds for £3m in 2016, is now the Whites' top scorer with three goals in as many games in the Championship and is keeping out Patrick Bamford, who joined from Middlesbrough in the summer.
