Unai Emery has been working intensively with his new players at Arsenal for two weeks and has been impressed enough with Aaron Ramsey to tell the powers that be that he wants the Welshman to be firmly in his plans.
"Normally, we are thinking about the young players, the possibility of them staying with us or going to play on loan at another team".
"We are looking at, looking for, who are the players whose personality is the best in the dressing room".
Arsenal manager Unai Emery has hinted that the club's transfer business could be complete for the summer. But at the moment I don't know the names.
He can play as a defensive or central midfielder and it is an area that Arsenal have needed to improve upon for a few seasons, and he could partner fellow new signing Torreira in that area.
Emery, 46, was appointed as head coach following Arsene Wenger's departure at the end of last season and - while he admits he needs to get to know his players better - he wants to have a host of players ready to step in as captain.
Wilshere joined West Ham this week after turning down a new-contract offer at Arsenal, the club he spent 17 years at after joining the academy as a boy.
He added: 'I want a team with confidence, personality, and intensity.
'I want all the players showing their best quality on the pitch in each training session and each match'.
"Maybe it's not the right word to use, but it has turned into a bit of a hell, because I have started to feel more pressure".
"In my opinion, I've said to Ivan, Raul and Sven that I think he's an important player for me".
"My idea is to know every player and to know, also, the personality of the players", said Emery, 43.
Guendouzi, a France U20 global, said that Arsenal is his dream club, one that he wanted to play for since childhood.
"And also he explained to me the decision is not easy for him".
