The Crew 2 closed beta will run from 8AM UTC / 9AM BST/ 10AM CEST / 4AM EDT on Thursday, May 31 to 8AM UTC / 9AM BST/ 10AM CEST / 4AM EDT on Monday June 4.
This beta will feature four different event types (Street Race, Rally Raid, Powerboat and Aerobatics) as well as having an event sponsored by Motor Trend Magazine.
If you want to try and get in on the closed beta for yourself, you can head over to the official The Crew 2 website to sign up right now. Pre-load will be available for selected players on all platforms starting May 29.
The Crew 2, judging from our time playing it at E3 previous year, will embrace the absurdity of its ideas. This, of course, means that players will get to sample racing action on land, air, and sea as they take on the redesigned map of the US. The beta gives players a chance to check out the upcoming open-world racing sequel before its launch June 29.
The Crew 2's beta will feature the first level of the game's progression system in the entire open world which will see them take to the skies via plane, burning rubber in the streets of iconic cities, and coasting on the water under bridges like the Golden Gate Bridge.
What's more, beta participants will receive a leather jacket in their inventory in the final game as a reward. Developed by Ubisoft Ivory Tower (with the help of Ubisoft Bucharest, Paris, Shanghai and Massive) based in Lyon, France, The Crew 2 will let players experience the thrill of the American motorsports spirit inside a fully redesigned USA.
