Yes, Rage 2 exists, and there's a trailer.
Bethesda's message is quite clear. It also confirmed that we'll see more of the sequel at this years E3, with RAGE 2 set to star at Bethesda's showcase taking place on June 10th at 18:00 PM PST.
Alongside the trailer the Rage 2 Twitter account tweeted: "No more waiting".
After the recent leak, Bethesda finally and officially announced the upcoming sequel. Featuring intense first-person shooter action, breakneck vehicle combat, an expansive world to explore and jaw-dropping graphics powered by id's revolutionary id Tech® 5 technology, RAGE promises an experience like no other.
Given this publisher's push to get games on Nintendo's console after the original release, we are hopeful that it will make it there eventually. RAGE 2 follows Walker, the last Ranger of Vineland, as he fights to survive the chaos of the dystopian world into which he was born.
Based on the simple fact that the same people who made Just Cause 3 are involved in making Rage 2, gives gamers hope that it will at least be somewhat of a fun game. Bethesda also will reveal a gameplay trailer tomorrow for the game (unless it leaks early). Sadly, it's not due out until 2019, when it'll launch on PC, PS4, and XBOX One.
Until then, it's good to know that someone, somewhere is working on a new Rage game considering that the first title was a very exciting project that never really lived up to its full potential.
Stay tuned for more details and the gameplay trailer coming later today.
