Normally every year the Bihar School Examination Board conducts Annual Secondary School Examination in the month of February/March and Supplementary School Examination in the month of August/September on the basis of course/syllabus as prescribed by the state Government.
The examination for Class 10th was conducted between 22 January to 24 January. The board officials have maintained that the result will not be declared earlier than May 20 but is not expected to be delayed beyond May 25.
A board official mentioned that the results of class 10 examinations will be declared by the second week of June. Students are recommended to stay tune as the matric results is likely to announce anytime sooner.
The exam was conducted in two sittings in 1,426 centres across the state for 17,70,042 candidates - 8,91,243 boys and 8,78,794 girls.
