The TV channel reported that Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar has reached the residence of the Supreme Court judge.

The chief justice is believed to be personally overseeing the investigations.
Later on, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi also released a condemnation message and directed for the early arrest of those responsible.
On July 28 past year, a five-judge bench of the apex court unanimously disqualified Sharif and directed the NAB to file references against him, his sons - Hassan and Hussain Nawaz - daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar and Ishaq Dar.
Ahsan was a member of the bench which heard high profile Panamagate case against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and ultimately disqualified him.
He tweeted, "Strongly condemn the firing at Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan's house".
Punjab government also constituted a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to probe the incident. He termed the attack on the apex court judge's residence an attack on the country's security.
Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leaders Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in a statement called for a judicial probe into the matter.
Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident and ordered an inquiry.
"All stakeholders should ensure [a] secure environment for [the] effective functioning of the state institutions and continue the efforts to consolidate improving peace and stability".
All the bar councils across Pakistan have given strike call for Monday to protest against the firing incidents.
It merits mention here that Justice Ahsan had been appointed as monitoring judge to supervise the trial proceedings in the accountability court of Islamabad against former premier Nawaz Sharif, and members of his family. He had taken oath as the new chief justice of Lahore High Court (LHC) in November 2015.
