Available only for a limited time, Ewok Hunt lets you stalk your Imperial enemy under the cover of night, or desperately fight to hold off the pint-sized throngs until you can escape.
These will include new Endor Leia and Endor Han skins and over 50 other clothing options to personalise your character, some of which are detailed here. They're one of the ways fans can unlock cosmetic Appearances in-game and they're bought with real-life money.
Thankfully, Star Wars Battlefront II begins their community turnaround by taking risks with their first big community update. EA and developer DICE temporarily removed microtransactions from Battlefront II, and later made changes to the game's progression system to make it more linear and less grindy. "In March we launched the Progression Update, April is Night on Endor and moving forward we're committed to keeping up this cadence of content updates". Players can start either as an Ewok or Stormtrooper, but each time a Stormtrooper is taken out they become an Ewok.
What makes it worse (for the stormtroopers at least) is that the mode also takes a page out of Halo's "Infection" gametype. If the Empire's forces have been completely eliminated, the Ewoks win and their celebration can begin. We know this is something that many of you have been asking for, so we can't wait to see them in action across the galaxy.
Ewoks will be using weapons like spears and Wisties, but Stormtroopers will obviously have an edge with their blasters and flashlights. Credits are earned through in-game activity and can be redeemed toward Appearances, as well. You can read about the official details posted down below. Season Two is on the way and we can confirm that you'll hear more about this in early May. Star Wars Battlefront II would provide free DLC as to not separate its playerbase.
