News of this feature arrives just weeks before the LG G7 ThinQ makes its official debut, with LG confirming earlier this month that an unveiling will to take place on 2 May at an event in NY. The device looks absolutely stunning in a new design which also features a dedicated Google Assistant button on-board.
"With the LG G7 ThinQ, LG is continuing to deliver on its promise to enhance core technologies to meet customers real-life needs by incorporating AI technologies that are more than features, they are part of the user experience".
Just like the LG V30S ThinQ that was presented at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 last February, the upcoming LG G7 will be packed with custom LG commands that the Google Assistant would recognize. The image shows the G7 ThinQ featuring a full-screen design with a notched display just like the iPhone X.
Respecting the tradition of the past years, LG is preparing to launch its new top phone for the current year. Image published insider Evan Blass. In terms of connectivity, the device will come with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. Small bezels at the bottom side makes the device look even more handy. There will also be a Vision AI-powered face unlock feature that will bring facial recognition as a means of authentication.
The power key has been placed on the right edge of the smartphone, while the volume rocker key has been placed on the left edge along with another button that may be used to launch a Virtual Assistant, (Google Assistant or the company's own AI-powered Assistant).
On this occasion, the presence of the notch, the two main cameras on the back, and the fingerprint sensor in the same comfortable position are confirmed. The SIM tray would be placed at the top. The Snapdragon 845 SoC will be powering it with 4 GB of RAM. For photography, it may house 16-megapixel dual rear cameras and a front-facing shooter of 8-megapixel.
