They've started well in 2018 with a January Mini Direct announcing The World Ends With You, Mario Tennis Aces, Hyrule Warriors, Dark Souls, and more. When I played it all those years ago I was absolutely taken aback by it's striking visuals and infectious soundtrack.
The World Ends with You: Final Remix - When this game hit the Nintendo DS in 2008, it was critically acclaimed and loved by fans. The original game is included in all its slippery, frozen glory with a brand-new novice mode that lets players take up the mantle of Funky Kong, a "groovy" new character who can hover, double jump, and use his surfboard to do a lot of cool tricks underwater.
The news about the role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco was one of the popular announcements at the first Nintendo Direct this year. The Switch version of Dark Souls will be include the Artorias of the Abyss DLC and will have improved frame rate and resolution.
Not only that, the Ultimate Edition will also include Breath Of the Wild themed costumes and couch co-op. According to Nintendo, the story mode offers "a new flavor of tennis gameplay with a variety of missions, boss battles, and more". With a continuously growing number of gamers buying the hybrid portable console, it is also not a surprise that more video game companies want to bring their titles to the gaming platform. Players have 30 seconds to hide a balloon somewhere in the local area - and other players (online) have 30 seconds to find it. The free update adds Luigi's Balloon World, as well as new outfits and snapshot filters.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze - You know what every Donkey Kong Country game ever made was missing?
The first major releases are Platinum Games classics Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2, coming on 16 February.
The playable characters shown also have sporty new looks. Lavoué had a lot of good news to share about Nintendo's business has been performing in the country so far, and the main highlight are the sales of the Switch.
Dark Souls Remastered Following a string of leaks and rumors, Nintendo announced Dark Souls Remastered a Nintendo Direct Mini. The game will launch on PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
